Hello, my name is Jodie! I am 24 years old and I am hardworking and enthusiastic about teaching, having 3 years of experience teaching in Thailand. For the past 2 years, I have been teaching Phonics and Art at a Satit International Program in Bangkok and have previous experience teaching Kindergarten in Chachoengsao. I have a CertTESOL qualification and graduated with a degree in English Literature, achieving a 2.1 from Cardiff University.

In September of this year, I will be moving to London to study a masters degree Primary PGCE at University College London, which has been ranked first for education in the QS World University Rankings (2026).

I am therefore eager to continue teaching in Thailand and gain more experience whilst I am still here and would love to continue teaching phonics to students who want to strengthen their understanding. I am also flexible to help those who would like conversational practice, and can provide comprehensive support to build confidence and assist academically! I am currently based in Nonthaburi, however I am happy to travel into Bangkok to teach in-person (please note that I will not be able to teach at my house currently, however I am happy to meet at a location that works best for your convenience). My experience with CertTESOL training have strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to learners’ needs. I use varied methods and formative assessment to create an engaging, inclusive environment that builds confidence, independence, and curiosity. Read less
