I am a certfied native English teacher from the UK with a fine English accent. I hold a Cambridge certificate and I have taught all levels of English from beginner to advanced, as well as business English for corporate executives.
I have been tutoring in Hong Kong for 10 years. My main focus is English and since I have a degree in French, I also teach beginner vocabulary and grammar. I am experienced with students of all ages. I am based in Mid-levels and this is my preferred location to teach. I have lived and worked in Europe, Middle East and Asia and therefore I am resourceful, commited and culturally sensitive. I am a firm believer in engaging with students and making lessons relevant and meaningful to them. Words don't mean anything without context so I always try to establish some commonality with my students so that our lessons are productive and they always take something positive away. Even if the primary objectives of the lesson are not achieved, I always look for a secondary or tertiary one so that there is always something useful learned. Read less
