I am Miguel, currently a B. ED student at UNISA, in my third year studying intermediate and senior phase. I have a passion for numbers and I received a distinction for accounting in my matric year. I am offering online extra accounting lessons to give learners an advantage when it comes to knowledge about accounting.

As a practicing accountant from the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, I offer to teach Accounting, Management Accounting, Costing, and allied subjects. I use mind mapping tools in my teaching so that it is easy to understand the connections between topics and get a better understanding of the purpose of the learning. Additionally, I share practical experiences that exist in small business workplaces where applicable. Due to my busy practice schedule, I offer tutoring sessions in the evenings and on weekends.

I have my degree in Financial Accounting and am comfortable with tutoring all subjects associated with it: tax, financial reporting, auditing and cost accounting. I've worked with a range of students and am patient and willing to adapt to each student's learning style. Every person is unique and learns in their own and it's my job to help them form their own understanding of the subject so that they're confident in their own abilities.

I am an experienced and passionate academic in the feild of Accounting. I have 17 years of experience in Accounting teaching. I am based in Auckland.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Management Accounting and a Master in Government Management. My qualifications were already assessed by New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA). It matched the International Qualification Assessment (IQA) of New Zealand standard. I have been working in the field of accounting since 2006 in the Philippines. Proven the ten (10) years’ work experience from different areas of financial management. I have been directly and responsibly involved in financial accounting and accounting system implementation. My experienced as team leader/coordinator in the implementation and deploying the accounting system to different offices will be my advantage in performing the role.

I am a certified accountant, having studied in the UK in the 90s. I also have a MBA and has been working as a Financial Controller and CFO in New York for the past 19 years. I have taught Accounting quite selectively over the past few years, including to my son who is now a CPA. I am hoping to share my expertise in this area , to students online. I hope to make Accounting as exiting and interesting as I have found it to be , over the years. I am currently the Financial Controller of a non profit organization in NYC, and considers myself an expert in this area. I have also worked in Audit, Real Estate, Construction and Investment.
