I then came to Hong Kong, where I worked as an ecologist and later completed my PhD at the University of Hong Kong in public health and virology. I continue to work in Hong Kong as a postdoctoral fellow, conducting research related to infection and immunology. My range of experiences has highlighted the interconnectedness between the many fields of biology and life sciences. I can readily draw examples and comparisons to aid in teaching new subject matter, as well as to build strong foundations across the sciences.
