I am originally from Devon, UK, and have been living in Thailand since 2019. I am a former international school student, born in Hong Kong and raised between Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science and Economics, I joined the Teach For America program—against the wishes of my parents, who had hoped I would pursue a career in finance—and taught a variety of subjects, including mathematics, chemistry, and biology. I also ran my school's after-school SAT tutoring program. As an educator, my background is in high school special education and middle school general education.
