I have been a Maths teacher in a secondary school in London, as well as an International school in Bangkok, teaching a wide range of classes across KS3 and GCSE. I have taught classes with challenging behavior and learned how to navigate that calmly and bring out the best in individuals. This is why I love tutoring, as working with students one-to-one allows me to do this effectively with fantastic results. I also have experience teaching English to adults and children in Peru. I love teaching Maths because I enjoy being able to raise a child's confidence and resilience through their progress. I believe anybody can be successful at Maths with a bit of hard work and self-belief, and I have the necessary people skills and passion to help them achieve success and transfer those skills outside of their studies too.
