My name is Kamogelo Hopane, and I hold a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Mathematics played a major role in my academic journey, and I achieved a distinction in Mathematics in high school in 2021. In 2022, I was awarded the 2nd position in the Mogalakwena District, an achievement that contributed to my admission to UCT, which is ranked as the number one university in Africa. I am currently working as a Junior Engineer specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, based in and around Sandton.
