Hi there! My name is Mattie Smith, and I am a third-year university student. My major is Math and Statistics, with a minor in French and Education. I work at my university's Math and Statistics Help Centre. I specialize in Junior High/High School Math because I have taken education method courses on teaching these grade levels, as well as university-level Statistics. I have completed 2 PhDs. The first one was in applied mathematics with a focus on "Methods of mathematical and computational modeling of local interaction processes in transportation systems" at MIPT from 2012 to 2016. The second PhD was in Informatics with a specialization in "Machine Learning for the distributed and dynamic management of a fleet of autonomous taxis and shuttles" at Université Paris-Saclay from 2017 to 2021. I have 22 years of tutoring experience and have taught full-year courses at both MIPT and Paris-Saclay. Additionally, I have served as a supervisor for the MIPT Olympiad School and as a member of the Jury for the Russian National Olympiad. I have also won the French-Swedish Prize for Young Researchers and achieved success in various mathematical competitions at the national level. Moreover, I have authored 9 books in Mathematics and Computer Science, some of which are in Russian and French. My main areas of expertise are mathematics and computer science at an advanced level. I offer Olympiad mathematics tutoring for students of all ages. I can help students with school subjects, including homework and tests, as well as prepare them for entrance exams to esteemed physics and mathematics schools and universities. I can also support students in their application process to higher educational institutions in any country, including the USA, UK, Israel, France, Germany, and Russia. Additionally, I can assist with major final and entrance tests, admission to top US universities, and admission to master's, PhD, or MBA programs. Furthermore, I provide guidance in specific subjects related to mathematical modeling or programming, specifically in the C++ programming language. However, for topics related to Algorithmics in Olympiad Informatics, Algorithmics, and Mathematical Modeling in Science, I only work with students who have a deep understanding of the research topic.

Hi! I'm a math tutor with approximately four years of tutoring experience. I have just graduated with an honors degree in pure mathematics, specializing in algebraic topology. During high school, I completed the International Baccalaureate program and achieved a level 7 in HL Maths. My main approach is to support students by working through problems together and identifying any key mistakes or gaps in their knowledge.
