Hello. My name is Erdem. I have been tutoring students in math and physics for the last 6 years. I studied Physics at Istanbul Bogazici University in Turkey. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Atmospheric Physics at the University of Cologne. Six years ago, I started tutoring because I find it a very enjoyable job. I love witnessing students grasp concepts they previously struggled with. Witnessing those 'aha' moments when something finally 'clicks' for them motivates me to continue this work indefinitely. Sometimes, students have difficulty understanding certain concepts. This is usually because they are missing crucial information from previous topics, not realizing what they don't know. I believe my most important role as a tutor is to identify what they are missing and help them fill in those knowledge gaps. Unfortunately I don't speak German yet (though I am working on it).
