Hi! I’m a physics enthusiast currently completing the final semester of my MSc in Theoretical Physics at Utrecht University. My research focuses on galaxy-galaxy gravitational lensing in collaboration with the DESC and LSST-Rubin teams, and I’m preparing to continue to a PhD in astrophysics, where I’ll also take on teaching assistant duties. Tutoring is something I already enjoy — it lets me share my enthusiasm for maths and physics while further developing my teaching skills. When I’m not studying the universe, I love music, hiking, and discovering new cafés. I’d be happy to support you in maths or physics up to high school (and a little beyond) in either French or English.

As a private tutor with three years of experience, I have an excellent understanding of what students need to prepare for their public exams and for their university studies. I have been tutoring for three years, and I enjoy the one-on-one approach that allows me to closely monitor a student's progress, whether it is in-person or online. During my junior high school years, I was a probationary student, achieving the lowest grades possible. However, one day, a peer gave me a speech and taught me some skills that completely changed my attitude towards studying. From that point onwards, I have received academic scholarships almost every year. While having study skills is important, I believe having the correct mindset is even more crucial, as many students these days do not truly understand why they are studying. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and filming YouTube videos.

I was born in Serres, Greece and my name is Stefanos. From very early age I was inclined in mathematics and enjoyed being faster in computations than my classmates. Soon after my elementary education I was fascinated with the laws of nature and the complexity of the universe and then I knew I wanted to become a theoretical physicist. I finished my bachelor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with GPA 9.59/10 without a lot of hard work and I am currently on my last year of my Master's in theoretical physics. I was always keen on teaching and mentoring others, starting from my classmates in school, my colleagues in university and young students after my graduation.
