I am Alan Leung Shek Lun, an energetic person who enjoys learning and thinking and sharing my insights with others. As a postgraduate with an MSc in Physics from CUHK, I have had extensive experience in both Theoretical Physics and Mathematics. My studies have not only required me to apply mathematical tools to simulate physics phenomena, but also to understand the world through the language of mathematics. With a PGDE in ICT and LS, and a BScEd in Science and Web Technology from HKEdU, I believe that my tertiary education has prepared me to successfully share a broader context of physical science with my students. Additionally, I am confident in sharing my knowledge of the history of science and mathematics, as well as cutting-edge technologies, and helping my students view diverse issues with a critical mind and multiple perspectives. Therefore, I strongly believe that I will be able to effectively teach my students and deliver knowledge to them with ease. As of now, my most recent job has been as an academic tutor in Physics and Mathematics. I have provided one-to-one tutorials, group tutorials, and online tutorials for international school students in regular and snap courses. Additionally, I have designed personalized teaching notes to improve students' performance in public examinations such as HKDSE, IB, GCE AL, IGCSE, and SAT, among others. Notably, one of my students achieved an excellent score of 780/800 in SAT Math II. During my teaching period, I am dedicated to developing Physics, Integrated Science, and Mathematics teaching materials that aim to enhance students' performance in open examinations as well as science and mathematics competitions.

Hi! I’m a physics enthusiast currently completing the final semester of my MSc in Theoretical Physics at Utrecht University. My research focuses on galaxy-galaxy gravitational lensing in collaboration with the DESC and LSST-Rubin teams, and I’m preparing to continue to a PhD in astrophysics, where I’ll also take on teaching assistant duties. Tutoring is something I already enjoy — it lets me share my enthusiasm for maths and physics while further developing my teaching skills. When I’m not studying the universe, I love music, hiking, and discovering new cafés. As a private tutor with three years of experience, I have an excellent understanding of what students need to prepare for their public exams and for their university studies. I have been tutoring for three years, and I enjoy the one-on-one approach that allows me to closely monitor a student's progress, whether it is in-person or online. During my junior high school years, I was a probationary student, achieving the lowest grades possible. However, one day, a peer gave me a speech and taught me some skills that completely changed my attitude towards studying. From that point onwards, I have received academic scholarships almost every year. While having study skills is important, I believe having the correct mindset is even more crucial, as many students these days do not truly understand why they are studying. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and filming YouTube videos.

I was born in Serres, Greece and my name is Stefanos. From very early age I was inclined in mathematics and enjoyed being faster in computations than my classmates. Soon after my elementary education I was fascinated with the laws of nature and the complexity of the universe and then I knew I wanted to become a theoretical physicist. I finished my bachelor in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with GPA 9.59/10 without a lot of hard work and I am currently on my last year of my Master's in theoretical physics. I was always keen on teaching and mentoring others, starting from my classmates in school, my colleagues in university and young students after my graduation.
