I have been teaching in Asia for the past 16 years at the Upper and Middle school levels in Maths, Science, and Computer Science. I am located in Salaya, just outside Bangkok. I am happy to teach groups and individuals online. I was voted the best teacher by the students at my most recent school. I am fully qualified as a Maths teacher (from the UK, can provide documents) at the middle and upper school levels. I have taught in both the UK and in Asia. I have experience teaching the AP program, IB Diploma, IGCSE, Additional Mathematics, and A-level Maths and Science for the last 15 years. I have also taught STEP mathematics and ran a UKMT club for advanced students in Maths. I can provide any documentation required by parents to demonstrate my experience and qualifications. I can also provide references from previous students I have taught and a police check if required to reassure parents. I obtained a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley (Ranked #8 in the world in 2025) and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University. I am a Science tutor for public exams including IGCSE, IB, and GCE A Level. For more ambitious students, I offer tutoring in SAT subject tests in Math and Physics, as well as AP exams in Calculus, Physics, and Statistics. With over 8 years of tutoring experience, I have taught over 200 students from various international schools such as HKIS, KGV, Canadian International School, Island School, German Swiss International School, and South Island School. For tutoring sessions, I travel to most districts in Hong Kong for home tutoring, and can meet students at cafes or clubhouses. I also teach online lessons using Zoom.

I am a former international school student born in Hong Kong and raised between Hong Kong, Beijing, and New York. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science and Economics, I joined the Teach For America program (against the wishes of my parents who had hoped I'd go into finance) and taught a variety of subjects including mathematics, chemistry, and biology. I also ran my school's after-school SAT tutoring program. As an educator, my background is in High School special education and Middle School general education. But where my strength lies is in my ability to help students understand their goals and how best to achieve them.
