Hi, my name is Dalal Murad. I am currently a university student in the UK, currently taking a gap year in Kuwait. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe in combining fun with learning. I think that learning is a skill that can be acquired through practice and by discovering our own unique learning style. I have experience teaching science and mathematics up to Grade 9. My most recent academic achievements include attaining RQF Level 3 (A Levels), with grades of A*AB in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, and Physics. I personally faced difficulties with learning and academia, even when I achieved those high grades. Due to my ADHD, I often struggled with inattentiveness and hyperactivity in class, making it challenging to complete homework and pay attention to my teachers. As a result, I had to develop new learning techniques. I conducted extensive research on effective learning methods, attended seminars, and participated in extracurricular activities and courses focused on education, particularly for children with learning difficulties. My experience volunteering with children with special needs for the past seven years has taught me patience and how to teach new skills using play, acting, and music. I hope to share the knowledge and lessons I have learned, and inspire students to strive for better while showing them that it is possible.
