I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years, and I speak 5 languages: in four I am fluent, and my Mandarin is intermediate level. A lot of us had learnt languages in the traditional way; grammar and rules, using memory and repetition. It is not totally a bad approach, but more can be done! The combination of grammar, important skills to ace the test, conversation and interesting cultural knowledge should be part of what a language course offers us.

I am a teacher of Spanish language and literature, as well as Spanish for foreigners, with almost 20 years of experience. I am also an official DELE examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and I have assessed both the oral and written parts of several exam sessions at various centers in Spain and South Korea. After receiving solid training, my teaching experience has been both intense and deeply enriching, which is why I am very interested in continuing my work as an online teacher. I have managed my own academy, taught in Secondary and Baccalaureate education, and prepared students for the EvAU in Madrid. I have also worked for UAX as a Spanish teacher, delivering courses for new students. My teaching experience is extensive and includes two main areas: teaching language and literature to Spanish-speaking students, and teaching Spanish to foreign students, both within and outside of Spain.
