Hi. My name is Ian. I live in Cape Town, South Africa and I am passionate about teaching English. I hold a degree in Applied Psychology and Communication, and a TEFL certificate. I started teaching because I love helping others to develop and learn. I also love building a cosmic relationship with students all over the globe. My teaching experience spans 9 years, teaching students of all ages and all proficiency levels. I apply a student-centred teaching model because I believe that my students play an equally active role in the learning process. Every student has strengths and weaknesses and each student has their own way of learning. My lessons are mainly online and I focus on 2 learning styles. Auditory learners learn best through listening and/or conversation. Visual learners learn best through reading, writing, and/or visual aids. Applying both has worked very successfully. Read less
