Hi all, my name is Miki, I am currently a school SEN tutor and private tutor. I live in Nam Cheong and I can travel to places outside Kowloon too!

I graduated form the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majored in Psychology (Dean's list). I was awarded different scholarships and awards in my study period. I got the following results in HKDSE: Maths 5* Physics 5* Chemistry 5* Biology 5**. I am currently teaching SEN groups and Chinese classes in different schools and I have been doing this for 4 years.

I Speak fluent English (IELTS 7.5/9) and Mandarin, so I am able to teach using these languages as the medium of instruction :)

With my experience (teaching more than 20 schools in 4 years), I am good at using educational psychology's approaches and theories to help students learn, and I am familiar with IB/AP/IGCSE Syllabus because of my past tutoring experience! My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My experience has been that one to one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student’s personal barriers to learn in a way that lays the foundation for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject.
