Hello, I'm a seasoned Software Engineer located in Milton Ontario with a passion for building high quality software applications. I have a Masters in Computer Science and over 10 years of experience in the field. In my entire career I have worked for companies of all sizes ranging from small startups to Multi national companies in variety of domains.

I have extensive experience designing and building both Frontend and Backend of Enterprise software in variety of platforms and programming languages such as Java, Python, Javascript, Spring, NodeJs, React. However my primary expertise is in Java and related frameworks such Spring, Dropwizard etc.

I have been mentoring Coop students, New grads and Junior developers for over 4 years which has given me the opportunity to understand the problems beginners and students face when they enter into the world of application development.

I have worked for 7 years in the United States as a Software Engineer and have been working in Canada for over 3 years now which has given me rich experience in both markets. Read less

In my journey as a software engineer, I started as a student and worked my way up to becoming a seasoned lead. I achieved this by making mistakes, learning from them, and gaining experience through hands-on work and practical projects. This approach is how I prefer to explain things to junior engineers. I take the time to break down complex concepts into manageable theory first, and then provide practical examples through small practice projects. I believe that programming is best learned through continuous practice.
