I'm a 25 year-old man with a fresh Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Aarhus University in Denmark - a country which is renowned for its top-level education. What separates me from many other psychology tutors is that my knowledge of the academic literature is updated. I earned my degree in June of 2022, which means that my knowledge is relevant for YOUR curriculum, and not an out-dated curriculum from many years ago. It is no secret that the field of research is constantly developing. And of course, your professors will expect you to be up-to-date.
I have a strong passion for social work and systemic practice. Out of my passion for systems theory, I've conducted an extensive literature review of the specific role of attachment theory in a systemic view of families (Family Systems Theory).
In my home country of Denmark, I work as a psychological counselor for patients with chronic pain issues, and I also work in a residential institution for adults with developmental disorders. I'm currently on leave of vacation as I'm volunteering in a holistic rehab center on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand.
I've facilitated group tutoring at my own university for three years (including classes such as Social & Personality Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Work & Organizational Psychology). I have worked as a professional proof-reader to correct grammar, syntax and the structure of E-books about stress and mentoring.
Before arriving in Thailand in October, last year, I was working in Tanzania, East Africa, as an English teacher in two different nursery schools. Read less
