I am a graduate of the prestigious University College London (UCL) with a BSc(Hons) in Pharmacology and Physiology. I have worked with a top scientific instruments company in the UK that collaborates with R&D departments of renowned Pharma clients such as GSK and Pfizer. I would like to share my extensive knowledge with biology students in Hong Kong and would love to teach students from grade 7 to A-level. I attended Island School in HK and have lived and worked in both HK and the UK, which allows me to effectively connect with students from various backgrounds.

Furthermore, I am a native English speaker and have privately tutored various students around HK, including pre-schoolers. I have also assisted in teaching at Eton House Kindergarten in HK.

I have experience in tutoring biology to GCSE students and ensure that the learning process helps them achieve top grades. I make the learning experience enjoyable by applying concepts to real-life situations and utilizing mind maps and my own resources as aids.

I follow the inquiry-based learning approach, where I love to bring in real-world applications to understand concepts. I also use lots of photographic resources and case study examples. Occasionally, I will randomly create multiple-choice questions for the children so that I can test their knowledge and see if they have grasped the concepts being taught. Read less
