I am a dedicated and hardworking educator, seeking to assist students to reach their maximum potential. I aim to make learning fun through my lessons, with the use of various materials. I am committed to the academic success and personal growth of students through support and the use of innovative teaching strategies. I have a Degree in Psychology and a Post Grad Degree in Education -Foundation Phase. I have 5 years classroom based teaching experience (subjects taught - Mathematics, English HL and Afrikaans FAL) and have been exposed to online teaching as well, as I also completed a 120 hour TEFL Certificate course. Through my interest in Psychology and education I have had the opportunity to work at a remedial centre for 3 years assisting learners with barriers and helping them grow both academically and emotionally. Together we will start from the basics building up to our goal that we are aiming to accomplish. I believe that each child is unique and so is their learning style. My aim is to develop lessons that suite the needs of a student; whether their learning style is visual, auditory or using concrete apparatus. In a nutshell; learning made fun!
