I find it helpful to find something the student is interested in that they can practice their writing. I also try to provide good examples and different reading materials which helps to set a good stanard.
I break words down to more simple words to help them to understand and pronounce it easier. For example if we had the word intentional, we could say (in) (ten) (tion) (al). I find this helps students to spell and pronounce more complex or new words a lot easier.
The best way to improve your reading is just to read, I try to find interesting content that could help the student be more engaged.
I try not to baby them and oush them to find the answer themselves. I even do this with my younger students and I have noticed it really helps them to gain more confidence.
For better pronunciation, I try practicing with phonetics and minimal pairs, listen to native speakers, use visual aids, and have fun with interactive activities like tongue twisters and games.
To help with public speaking or presentations, I encourage students to practice regularly, use visual aids. I provide constructive feedback and tips for improvement, and remind them to stay confident and natural while speaking.
When explaining complex English grammar rules, I break them down into simpler terms. For instance, I might compare verb tenses to different timeframes, like past, present, and future. Then, I use examples and practice exercises to reinforce understanding.
Motivating students who find language learning challenging involves finding what inspires them. I focus on their strengths, set achievable goals, and celebrate progress. Using interactive and engaging activities helps keep them interested and eager to learn.
In Thailand the curriculum targets conversational English
When prepping students for English exams and assignments, I start by reviewing the material thoroughly. Then, I break down the tasks into manageable steps, provide practice questions, and offer feedback on their work. Regular quizzes and mock exams help build confidence and identify areas for improvement.
To ensure active engagement during tutoring sessions, I use interactive activities, encourage questions, and relate the material to students' interests. I also vary teaching methods, like using visuals, discussions, and hands-on tasks, to keep them interested and focused.

Encouraging students to pursue their writing interests in English involves giving them freedom and support. I ask about their interests and ideas, provide resources and guidance, and celebrate their achievements. Creating a positive and encouraging environment inspires them to explore and develop their writing skills further.
