Hello!!

My name is Yuka. I am Japanese and have been living in Hong Kong for 16 years. Please call me Yuka sensei. My hobbies are studying English and going to Hong Kong Disneyland!

I studied early childhood education in Japan and have worked in kindergartens in Japan and Hong Kong for 11 years.I am still working at a local international kindergarten.I have Japanese kindergarten teaching license and nursery teacher license, also I have a Kindergarten Teaching Certificate (QKT) in Hong Kong. In the fall of 2024, I will be certified as a Japanese language teacher for children by AJLC. I am a tutor specializing in teaching Japanese to children.

My Japanese lesson is different from the traditional teaching, the kids do not need to sit on the chair for a long time, I will help them move their bodies and be happy learning Japanese. I customized the Japanese lesson for the individual kids using playing hands, playing rhythm games, singing songs, and reading picture books to achieve Hiragana reading, writing, listening, and speaking improvement. I will help the kids to gain an interest in learning Japanese and study Japanese happily.
⭐️For kids aged 6-12, lessons are a maximum of 60 minutes.
⭐️For kids aged 4-5, lessons are maximam of 45 minutes.

Lessons with adults are basically conversation lessons.
Basic Japanese, expressions used for travel, etc., for beginners.

My English level is CEFR: B1, so I can explain the details in English as well, no matter whether your kids are Hong Kong locals, Westerners, or mixed kids, you are welcome to have the Japanese lesson with me. Read less
