My name is Miguel, and I am originally from Barcelona, Spain. I hold a degree in Spanish and English Linguistics from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and I specialize in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), with more than six years of experience in this field. Throughout my career, I have obtained various certifications that support my pedagogical training, including the official TEFL teacher certification, which qualifies me to teach English.

With over 10 years of experience in the educational field, I have had the privilege of teaching students of different ages and profiles. My experience spans from teaching in primary and secondary schools to language academies and private tutoring. I have worked with students ranging from 3 years old to adults, and I am fully proficient in all language levels, from A1 to C2, Phonics, Cambridge and Trinity, KET, PET, and help prepare students for exams. This wide range of experience allows me to adapt my classes flexibly, responding to the specific needs and objectives of each student.

One of my areas of expertise is preparing students for international exams. I have extensive experience helping students prepare for the DELE exam (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language), both in its general versions and its specific versions for different contexts. Additionally, I have worked with students preparing for international English exams such as IGCSE, IB, IB Ab Initio, and the HKDSE. My approach is always personalized, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each student to optimize their performance on the exam.

My teaching approach is based on a communicative method and the use of authentic materials that allow students to develop their language skills in a dynamic and realistic way. In addition to exam preparation, I offer tailor-made courses for students who wish to learn English for specific purposes, such as business, travel, or everyday situations. My goal is to provide a learning experience that is both effective and enjoyable, adapting the content to each student's interests and personal goals.

Currently, I am looking for private students to whom I can offer both in-person and online classes. I live in Yuen Long, Hong Kong, and I am available to travel to other areas of the city as needed. I am committed to creating a dynamic, flexible learning environment that is adapted to each student’s needs, with the goal of helping them achieve their language goals efficiently.
