Willing to level up in biology, upgrade your marks, and understand how a plant can grow or a human can breathe? Do you think that biology lessons cannot be understood and are just to be learned by heart? Let me help you discover how fun and incredible the science of nature can be! I explain every biology lesson as if I were telling a story to a child, using lots of comparisons and colorful drawings. Curiosity and patience are my catchwords, with one slogan: never give up!

As a child, I grew up on a French farm in the countryside, my mind focused on nature and how it works. I was fascinated by lambings, spiderwebs, and blowing plants. I focused my studies in biology with final exams in agronomy, sustainable development, and ecology. I then followed preparatory courses for entrance exams to institutes of higher education with a Biology elective. I passed a competitive exam to get into an engineering school in agronomy. I completed both theory and practical lessons such as insects, pig heart, and plant dissection, microscopic examination, soil analysis, and diet making for animals. I studied a wide range of subjects including plants, agriculture, agroindustry, ecology, and sustainable development. I participated in a double degree program studying in both France and Italy, and completed my 6-month Master training period in a research center in Ireland. I focused on animal science, passionate about topics such as animal health, genetics, nutrition, neuromuscular systems, and digestion.

In parallel to my studies, I have always had a vocation for teaching and supervising. I have held a French Children's Activity Leader certificate since 2018. I have served as a tutor and babysitter for children from different nationalities and am currently working in a school, accustomed to working with kids aged 6 to 18. I have also participated in tandem language exchanges with adults. I am fluent in French, English, and Italian, so I can teach in Italian and French if desired.

I am living in Kai Tak in a flat with a spacious shared working room, but I can also meet you at your home as long as it is easily accessible by public transport. I am mainly available on Mondays and Tuesdays. I can also conduct online lessons with people from other countries, as I am accustomed to dealing with jet lag since Hong Kong is my fourth country of residence.

I follow the child's rhythm, trying to understand if he learns by seeing, writing, or in other ways. One of my first questions is, "How do you learn best? Do you think it is effective?" in order to enhance the student's overall learning abilities. I frequently share tips from other students or from my own experiences, and I help the student make connections between new ideas and concepts and ones they already know. I ask for the subject of the lesson to be communicated at least 24 hours in advance so that I can prepare pedagogical resources if necessary. Read less
