Hello! I'm MD Showket Hasan, a passionate and experienced Science teacher based in Phitsanulok, Thailand.

Since 2018, I've had the pleasure of teaching Science to Grades 7-9 in the Science Math Bilingual Program (SMBP) at Chalermkwansatree School. With nearly 10 years of teaching experience in Thailand and holding a Master's degree in Science (M.Sc.) from the University of Dhaka, I bring a strong academic foundation and practical classroom expertise to my tutoring. I believe strongly in lifelong learning and am currently enhancing my skills further by pursuing a Teaching Diploma.

My teaching philosophy centers on unlocking each student's unique potential through engaging and supportive instruction. I utilize a dynamic blended learning approach, integrating effective online tools (like Google Classroom, Khan Academy, Quizziz) with proven teaching techniques. I focus on building deep conceptual understanding, developing critical thinking skills, and making science exciting and relevant by connecting lessons to real-world applications and my own research background in environmental science and toxicology. Having taught extensively in a bilingual program, I am highly proficient at explaining complex scientific topics clearly in English.

I offer tutoring primarily for middle school/lower secondary students (approx. Grades 7-9) in core Science subjects, including Biology, Earth Science, foundational Chemistry and Physics principles, and Health Education. I also have experience guiding students through Independent Study (IS) science projects.

My ultimate goal is to help students not only succeed academically but also build confidence, cultivate curiosity, and develop a lasting appreciation for the wonders of science. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment for every student.
