My name is Naomie. I have over 10 years of experience teaching the English language to second language learners, from beginners to advanced levels.

I will create customized lessons for each client, as everyone's aims and goals vary, in order to focus on improving their skills and, most importantly, building their confidence in using the language effectively in their personal and professional lives.

I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment for learners to feel comfortable to grow, develop, and not feel bad or shy when making mistakes.

My teaching methodology is to create a safe and supportive environment for my learners. I also start off by getting to know the learners and understanding why they want to learn the language and what the main uses of the language are.

From then on, I will customize lesson plans specific for each learner, focusing on their problem areas while also providing them with additional materials to meet their aims and goals.

I believe mistakes are not bad. They give us an indication of areas where improvement can be made. Read less
