I am a native speaker of English with a B.A. with honors in Comparative Literature (English and Japanese) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I have staged two plays and published three books of poetry. As a mother of two, I can make learning fun for kids.

I love the English language and would like to take you and/or your children on fulfilling journeys of learning and exploration. I can explain the nuances of English in Cantonese, as a fully bilingual native speaker of both languages.

If you are interested in terms specific to software engineering or the finance industry, note that I have worked for sixteen years as a software engineer for US companies and have passed the US brokerage exams for General Securities (Series 7) and Commodities (Series 3).
