I am Danielle du Preez, a final-year law student based in Stellenbosch, majoring in Afrikaans and Dutch at the University of Stellenbosch.

With more than three years of Afrikaans studies at the university level, I have developed a deep understanding of the language, both academically and practically. I graduated in 2021 from Helpmekaar Kollege, a private IEB high school with six distinctions, including 86% in Afrikaans Home Language.

My coursework during University has included the study of language acquisition, allowing me to better support students in mastering Afrikaans effectively.

I have spent my University years tutoring high school students, helping them build confidence and improve their results. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's academic framework and focuses on addressing common challenges learners face when dealing with Afrikaans, specifically second-language speakers.
