Hello, my name is Tanushree Phadke, and I teach Biology and Biological Sciences, including areas such as genomics, molecular biology, and biotechnology. I am based in Singapore and offer tutoring to students who want to strengthen their understanding of biological concepts and develop a deeper appreciation for how life sciences shape the world around us.

My passion for biology began early in my academic journey and ultimately led me to pursue engineering and advanced studies in the life sciences. I have always been fascinated by how complex biological systems work-from the genetic code that drives life to the scientific innovations transforming medicine and healthcare today.

Beyond academics, I bring over 20 years of US based industry experience in the global biotech and pharmaceutical industry, where I have worked on scientific and development programs aimed at translating cutting-edge research into real-world medical solutions. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with scientists, clinicians, and innovators to help bring new technologies and therapies closer to patients.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students truly understand biological concepts rather than simply memorizing facts. Biology can sometimes feel overwhelming because of the amount of information involved, so I help students break down complex topics into clear, logical frameworks. By connecting concepts and explaining the “why” behind biological processes, I aim to make learning both engaging and meaningful.

I also bring a real-world perspective to my lessons by sharing how the topics students learn in school such as genetics, molecular biology, and biotechnology are applied in modern research, medicine, and innovation. This helps students see biology not just as a subject to study for exams, but as a fascinating field that is shaping the future of healthcare, sustainability, and technology.
