I am a postgraduate at the University of Kwazulu Natal in Durban. I have my BSc in Pure and Applied Physics, Honours in Theoretical Physics, Masters in Space Physics where I studied using signals in the ionosphere to predict imminent large-scale earthquakes, and I have just handed in my Ph.D. in microseismology.

I have relocated to Cape Town now. I have been lecturing since 2016 at all levels, from undergraduate physics students to life science students and engineering classes.

I usually go through a set of problems with students, helping them understand how to attempt a problem and thus better comprehend the theory of a section. I would ask for their textbooks to go through their syllabus and attempt solving as many problems as possible. My goal is to teach students in a way that they gain a thorough understanding of the section, to the point where they feel confident enough to teach it to others. Read less
