I am a passionate and dedicated teacher of Filipino Language and Literature. For many years, I have been a partner in helping students understand the art of our language and appreciate the beauty of our classic works.

My teaching style is not just focused on memorizing linguistic rules, but on active and creative learning. I believe that Filipino should be felt and experienced. For this reason, I incorporate innovative strategies such as interactive activities and linking literature to social and psychological issues in my lessons, to make each session more meaningful. My teaching is active and critical. Instead of pure lectures, I use simulations such as "The Scales of Justice" and Fact-Finding Sheets to make literary and language analysis lively.

I adapt each lesson to the child's learning style (visual, auditory, or kinesthetic). Using actual news stories and copyreading exercises, I hone their technical skills in a way that balances knowledge, emotion, and skill. Read less
