I am Tutor Danilo from Cebu, and I've been teaching online for over 4 years. I have both a TEFL certificate and a TESOL certificate. I studied Secondary Education for a few years when I was in college. My lessons are tailored to my tutees' needs. Each lesson is prepared with the utmost attention to detail, which is why I often encourage my tutees to ask questions for clarification. Most of my tutees are Filipinos, and I've taught both children and adults with different levels of English proficiency. - Make it a game: Use matching games, simple songs, and reward systems to keep their energy up.
- Don’t kill the mood with corrections: If a child says, “I seed a dog yesterday,” don’t stop to lecture them on irregular verbs. Just repeat it back correctly: “Oh, you saw a dog? Awesome!” Read less
