I have had the privilege of working with children since 2012. In this time I have learnt so much from them. They have taught me that it is best to see things with an open mind, to never stop believing in the little things in life and to always come prepared for anything. This is why I believe that one cannot simply be a teacher from a distance; you have to be involved and you have to guide, not dictate. I have a great passion for learning as well as teaching and this is the reason why I would love for the opportunity to be a tutor in the English language.

I live in Parklands, Cape Town with my family. I have experience in teaching assistance, aftercare teaching, au-pairing and tutoring.

One of the benefits of having a love for the English language is the fact that I enjoy reading, writing poetry, editing texts and writing comprehensions. I am the go-to person in my family and circle of friends when someone requires help with vocabulary, punctuation or spelling and I enjoy helping them as an opportunity to teach is also an opportunity to learn.
