I know the technology use in books and many websites with good teaching materials. I can make a class interesting by bringing in outside materials and using my general knowledge. I can manage classes well and adjust the class according to the students needs. I am dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher with over 18 years’ experience in New Zealand, South Korea and Taiwan. I have ten years teaching at universities. My ability to adapt my approach and the course material to the learning needs of the students has resulted in excellent student feedback and pass rates. I am now seeking to apply my international experience within a language school in New Zealand. I have taught both adults and children using a number of curriculum, syllabus and text books in different contexts including universities, language academies, summer and winter schools.

I had been working as a Guest Lecturer in Accounting and Taxation under The University Of Calicut, India before arriving to New Zealand. Full time job of teaching & tutoring over 100 tertiary students was rewarding but I loved my job. Some of the duties include: - Lecture planning, preparation and research - One-to-one interaction with students, if required - Checking and assessing students' work - Encouraging personal development via tutorial - Invigilating examinations - Attending staff meetings - Schedule extra classes and prepare notes - Reading academic journals - Supervising both graduates and post graduates - Attending and speaking at conference seminars My approach to tutoring is to provide a tailor-made tuition depending on the needs of the student. I aim to run a tuition in support of the progression of my students through their subject syllabus, but I am also willing to progress more slowly and focus on particularly weak areas if the students so desires. I would advise offering pre-exam revision sessions and mock exams as well. Moreover, I expect students to maintain regular contact in regards to their subject progressions and their individual needs. In addition, I am happy to meet the parents or guardians of my students prior to the commencement of tuition in order to ascertain what they wish their child to gain from tuition.

I have my education degree in which I have learnt the concepts of teaching learning process and how to overcome the problems of students. Moreover, I have my two master degree in my subject. I belong to Auckland.
