I taught daily classes in early childhood education at the high school level. I developed rubrics for assessing the skill level of undergraduate education students. I privately tutored struggling students and collaborated with Pongola Academy to enable them to excel in the education department.

My name is Catrine Kruger and I can provide tutoring for the junior primary age group from 5 years old to grade 4 in Maths, English, Reading, Writing, and Spelling. I enjoy working with children, I feel happy when I know they have learned something they have not known before. I would love to see the children grow and I wish to help them reach their learning potential. I am qualified in BEd foundation Phase and I have an Advanced Diploma in Remedial Education.

Hey! My name is Luukas, and I'm an MSc International Economics graduate. I'm originally from Finland, but have lived internationally throughout much of my life, including the past five years in Rotterdam. I've always genuinely enjoyed tutoring, specifically the challenge of breaking down complex concepts into intuitive explanations. Even more importantly, I find fulfillment in learning how to adapt these explanations to different people, as everyone has their own style of learning that can make subjects 'click' for them. Tutoring is simply the art of finding each person's individual style. I definitely had to find my own style of learning during my studies, as the vast majority of topics in economics are technically complex and understanding often does not come naturally. I learned to quickly identify core intuitions and not be discouraged just because a subject would look overwhelmingly complicated at first glance.
