My name is Marc and my approach to tutoring is not unique, but is tried and tested. I bring energy to each lesson, and try make each topic as interesting as possible- if I see any boredom, I shake things up and try a different approach- maybe taking a needed mental break or using one of my crazy analogies. I am passionate in the human connection, the trust between the student and tutor. A tutor is different to a regular teacher- we have lots more freedom to teach the way we want! Each lesson I plan is specific to what the student needs. If the plan is not working- there are plenty backups! Planning is critical to every success. I only have 2 aims when tutoring… to boost your marks tremendously and to build a connection! I just graduate with a BSc in genetics, biochemistry and human anatomy, after completing 1st year engineering and deciding to change degree. I also have a keen interest in exercise science and human movement, and I love my fitness and playing every sport. I am always outdoors hiking and running and struggling to surf, and learning about sports injuries from first hand experiences!

I focus not only on deepening students' understanding of the topic but also on applying this knowledge to the real world. My major is in Biomedical Science with over 15 years of teaching experience. I have taught A-level and IB classes before, and I have access to over 20 past papers from well-known schools in Hong Kong.

I have also worked as a GCSE and A-Level Biology tutor at First Class Academy, where my students achieved A grades in their exams.
