Online Physiology Tutors across the globe

Kia ora! I'm Alice, a first year medical student with a passion for learning. I have no previous experience tutoring, but I've taught ballet for 2-14 year olds for three years, and assisted my peers with their work. I'm wanting to broaden my scope of teaching into academic fields. I love teaching and finding a strategy for learning that works for the student, and that empowers and supports them through their learning journey. There is nothing more satisfying for me than when someone I'm teaching or helping has that "Eureka!" moment. I am incredibly flexible in my teaching styles and am willing to work to adapt my methods to help deepen understanding of the subject. I believe that there is no better way of learning than to teach, both personally and academically. Translating academic knowledge into teachable sections is a skill that I am skilled in, and am excited to improve this. I would be thrilled if I could help even one student deepen their understanding or passion for Biology. Biology is an infinitely interesting field for me and I would love to be able to nurture that passion in students. Science in general is one of my favourite things - particularly how every field interweaves and you can use knowledge in other subjects to more deeply understand. My goal for students would be to find one thing in this field that sparks their interest and would motivate them to learn. Building confidence within the subject of Biology and allowing students to achieve their full potential within this field is paramount - and I am willing to find strategies that work to achieve this. I would absolutely love to share my passion for both learning and Biology.

I have a Masters in Physiotherapy with specialization in Orthopedics. Been a college Lecturer for 4 years. Tutoring students online since the past 4 years. Prior to HKU Medicine, Matthew graduated with a First-class Honor degree from the University of Warwick in Biomedical Sciences as well as studied in Hong Kong at HKUGA College. Hi, I'm Tarryn Grieves. I'm 22 years old, I live in Claremont and I study medicine at the University of Cape Town. I am very passionate about Biology, hence my career choice, and I am very excited to be given the opportunity to teach a subject that I love. I will try my best to pass on my knowledge enthusiastically in a manner that is beneficial and can be easily understood by my students.

I have almost 10 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring since I was in grade 11. I have tutored students at the level of middle school, high school, university (undergraduate), and medical school. I am very focused and goal-oriented and like to finish the lessons/assignments in a given time period, while at the same time engaging the students and making sure they understand the concept(s) thoroughly. Hi guys my name is Karyl I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree. While doing my degree I knew I wanted to get into the health field, therefore I did a variety of health courses specifically biology, microbiology and anatomy and physiology which I enjoyed immensely and was succesful in. As I am currently attending Dental Assiting school, my ultimate goal is to become a dental hygienist. So do not hesitate to contact me if you need help in biology.

As a tutor, I strive to provide students with tools to learn how to study for various courses in a way that best suits their learning style. With a passion for science communication and personalized learning, I am happy to offer tutoring in biology - my specialties are in Cell Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Neurosciences (I was the top student in most of these subjects)! So, what credentials do I have? I am a thesis student, completing studies in Biomedical Science at Ryerson University, with a minor in psychology. For nearly two years, I have been working as a research assistant in cancer cell biology. I have won numerous awards for my research presentations and have been an invited speaker to events in the GTA. From as early as high school, I was involved in tutoring and acting as an assistant teacher for both music and science courses. I love learning, and enjoy courses involving cell biology and physiology, subjects of which I currently tutor as a group and private instructor at Ryerson University. I also tutor these subjects and run study sessions for the Ryerson Science Society. I am located in Toronto and offer online or in-person sessions.
