I am Michelle Moyo, a BSc (Hons) Chemistry graduate (Cum Laude) from Wits and UJ. I am a Chemistry tutor based in Johannesburg. Throughout my studies, I consistently excelled, achieving straight A’s in all my modules. My academic success has equipped me with a deep understanding of complex scientific and mathematical concepts, which I am eager to share with students. As an aspiring chemist, encouraging more young people to pursue science is deeply close to my heart, especially because of my own journey in the field. Coming from a background where access to scientific opportunities was not always readily available, I understand the importance of representation, mentorship, and support. Clement is a Year 3 undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University, currently studying Chemistry and Environmental Science. He has been working as a part-time tutor for the past four years and is currently tutoring two students, one of whom will be taking their O Levels in 2023. Clement has a proven track record of marked improvements with his students. Over the years, three of his students have confidently moved from N Levels to O Levels. One student made remarkable improvements in N Levels 2022, scoring 9 points and an A1 in both Science and Math. Another student completed both N Levels (2020) and O Levels (2021) with Clement, and successfully entered their dream polytechnic course.
