I specialize in teaching chemistry and other STEM subjects (biology, physics, and maths), as well as research/ thesis consulting, with over 8 years of experience in various major international (IB, A-levels, AP, IGCSE, DSE). I am a scientist by profession and am currently working on several top-tier funded projects at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), with several published articles in scientific journals like Nature Communications, American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, among others. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from HKUST under a fully-funded scholarship, which resulted in multiple excellence awards and peer-reviewed papers. Prior to my PhD, I worked as an analytical chemist in industries while doing part-time lectureships at universities and private tutoring. I also got full scholarships for his Master's degree (De La Salle) and Bachelor's degree (Polytechnic) in Chemistry (Class Valedictorian, Magna Cum Laude). With knowledge, skills, and practical experiences, I helped numerous students grasp and master the subject matter through analysis and critical thinking, and I also made them appreciate the real-life applications of the principles they learned at school.

I gained my teaching qualification (PGDE) from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 and spent some time teaching in Scotland before my first post abroad in 2010.
