In this capacity, I continued to drive progress throughout the department by sharing best practices with non-specialist teachers and the department as a whole. In addition to improving academic progress each year, I developed the school’s STEM opportunities through extracurricular Crest awards and organized a residential trip to CERN in Geneva, where students had the opportunity to see one of the particle accelerators up close. My success in inspiring students and colleagues alike, along with my continued improvement in student academic progress, saw me promoted to Head of Science the following year.
