Hello! I'm Genevieve, and I'm passionate about teaching programming to young minds. With several years of experience in coding and education, I specialize in teaching children the fundamentals of programming, including languages like Scratch, Python, and JavaScript. Based in a vibrant community, I strive to make learning accessible and enjoyable for all my students.

Bdawy Ahmed, a Computer Science student, is on a journey to becoming a Software Engineer. I have a strong foundation in programming, including functional programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), problem-solving, data structures, and databases. I am passionate about learning and expanding my skills in new technologies every day. In addition to my studies, I authored a book designed to simplify the basics of programming for beginners, using Python as the starting point. The book is titled Pythoner for Beginners. I am also proud to be a Hafiz of the Qur’an, which is a significant part of my personal and spiritual journey. I am excited to continue growing as a developer and working towards my goal of becoming a skilled software engineer.

I graduated in Computer Engineering from HKU. I have experience in programming and math. The tutoring location can be discussed. My rate is $250 HKD per hour.

I have been working as a Data Scientist for almost 3 years, handling AI models. I am now teaching Maths, Computer Science (Python), French (my native language), and German (C1 level) alongside my studies in Philosophy. I already have experience tutoring in France, from 7th to 12th grade. My main strength is empathy. I strongly believe that a student who is struggling simply has not been given the correct explanations and vision to understand and solve a problem. I love to try to understand why a student is struggling and find different ways to help them see the problem more clearly. I also focus on methodology, which is a key asset in solving complicated problems or learning a language. I am based in Rotterdam and am eager to move there to give classes to anyone living in the area. I am also open to teaching online.

First-year Computer Science major at NUS with internship experience at DSTA as a Research Intern (June 2021 - December 2021) and A*STAR as a Project Intern (February 2024 - April 2024). I have a strong track record in competitive programming, having been crowned champion at Cyberthon JC 2023, CDDC JC 2022 & 2023, and the Splash Awards JC 2022. My experiences in both research and competitions have given me a deep understanding of computer science principles, which I am eager to share through tutoring.

I am an engineering student at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a strong background in software development, artificial intelligence, and full-stack web engineering.
