Online Economics Tutors across the globe

Hey! My name is Luukas, and I'm a MSc International Economics graduate. I'm originally from Finland, but I have lived internationally throughout much of my life, including the past five years in Rotterdam. I have always genuinely enjoyed tutoring, specifically the challenge of breaking down complex concepts into intuitive explanations. Even more importantly, I find fulfillment in learning how to adapt these explanations to different people, as everyone has their own style of learning that can make subjects 'click' for them, and tutoring is simply the art of finding each person's individual style. I definitely had to find my own style of learning during my studies, as the vast majority of topics in economics are technically complex and understanding often does not come naturally. I learned to quickly identify core intuitions and not be discouraged just because a subject would look overwhelmingly complicated at first glance. These are skills I would like to pass on to younger students. I can provide tutoring in any economics subjects, whether macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, etc. - as well as in mathematics and statistics. This can be at any level from high school to master's degree. I continue to live in Rotterdam and can do tutoring sessions both in-person or online, depending on preference.

As the former president of the Learning Disabilities Association, I am passionate about helping students who have been identified or are within the spectrum of having learning challenges. I have an in-depth understanding of the challenges students might face in learning new subject matters. Additionally, I hold two Master's degrees: one in Law with a concentration in technology and innovation from UofT, as well as an MBA from Cornell University. I have three years of experience mentoring and coaching start-up companies. During my MBA program, I mentored engineering teams on their written presentations and business strategy plans. I have also coached and helped student teams with pitch competitions, and I enjoy assisting students in feeling more confident in their learning journeys. Furthermore, I have over 12 years of corporate work experience in finance and three years of entrepreneurial experience working on my startup.

I studied Economics at IGCSE and A Levels and scored A* for both. Economics is one of my favorite subjects, and I would like to help people have a clear understanding of economic concepts.

I have completed an Honours degree in Economics and successfully completed modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics, fundamentals of econometrics, and economics.

Hi! My name is Jessica Wang and I am a graduate from Duke University, where I studied Economics, Education, and Statistics. I grew up in the American school system, and am experienced with the AP curriculum (having taken 12 courses myself). I am currently working on my Masters of Education at the University of Pennsylvania, the #1 graduate school for education. I am a licensed Mathematics instructor in the United States. I teach private lessons as well as group classes in mathematics for students of all ages, ACT/SAT, and Economics. I am also able to teach other subjects by inquiry. Hi! I am a third-year student at Imperial College London studying Electronic and Information Engineering. I have experience teaching Mathematics, English, and Economics. I am happy to teach mathematics, programming, physics, economics, and English up to pre-university level. On a more personal note, I was born in Hong Kong and lived here until I was 18. I moved to the UK for university and have lived there for the past 3 years. Outside of academics, I am a passionate volleyball player and a skydiver!

I am an experienced Maths, Science and Economics tutor with over 6 years of experience. I am a fourth year MBBS (Medicine) student and previously graduated from the London School of Economics (BSc Statistics and Finance). I have been with teaching GCSE/ IGCSE/ A-Level/ MYP, covering different exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR, Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). Hello, my name is Nadia. I am a recent International Baccalaureate Diploma graduate located in the Netherlands and I look forward to studying Business and Economics in the future. I am taking a gap year and would love to dedicate some of my time towards tutoring, something I have previously done in school before. My current experience in methods of tutoring is face-to-face, a full classroom, and as an assistant. Currently, I can tutor IBDP students with Business Management HL, Economics SL, and Dutch B SL including IAs for all subjects. I can also help with the content of TOK through discussions, however, I am not familiar with the new assessment method so I cannot help further than that. Furthermore, I can help middle school students with Business, Economics, and Maths. My tutoring service has been complimented for being well organised and prepared for in advance in the needs of the students. I therefore request parents/learners to let me know in advance what topic they would like me to cover during a session, or if I'm helping with homework, what topic(s) the homework is about. This way I can be most efficient with the session time so that learners can make the most of it.

I first came across Bitcoin in 2011 but didn't explore further until after listening to a lecture on cryptocurrency at a school fair. I subsequently started doing my own research and quickly realized that Bitcoin stood out as the only truly decentralized cryptocurrency. The more I learn about it, the more miraculous an invention/discovery it seems to be. While many people see Bitcoin as a high-growth tech stock for short-term gains, I see it as the most important invention of the era, a new hope to fix the world's broken monetary system, and a way to safeguard personal wealth during the transition. My aim is to help others see the beauty that is Bitcoin and give them the confidence to safeguard some of their wealth in this way, which, in turn, would strengthen the Bitcoin network and hopefully spread knowledge and understanding of it to others. I am a Hong Kong person studying for a master's degree in Thailand. I studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for a Bachelor's degree in BBA financial service. Currently, I am pursuing an MABA at Chulalongkorn University, which has given me a good understanding of economics. However, I can only speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, not Thai.
