I am Ca Robertson, a former international school teacher and convener of university conversation classes. Currently, I am tutoring private students with my tutoring company, 'Independent Learning', and working to deliver an effective English curriculum with various NGOs in Hong Kong. For over 15 years, I have been preparing students for a variety of exams, including the Cambridge Young Learners exams, 11+, 13+, SAT, and General and Academic IELTS. My current and former students include business professionals, university professors, adults who want to improve their basic English, and students from top local and international schools. I hold an MEd in Teaching English from Oxford Brookes University and an MA in Religious Studies and Spanish from the University of Glasgow.

I took the SAT three times in high school, and raised my score from 1220 to 1500. I enjoy the process of studying and hope I can help you make the process a little more interesting (and a little less painful). I recently had an IELTS student who raised his score from a baseline of 5.0 to a 6.5—after only 7 tutoring sessions! I am an experienced and UK-trained teacher of English, History, and Law. I specialize in teaching teens and adults with ADHD and Autism. I tailor each lesson to the needs and interests of my student, using their interests and ideas to help them through the school curriculum. I teach online.
