Hello, my name is Chris! I am a native English speaker from the USA, and I have been living in Thailand for 10 years. From 2012 to 2019, I taught English at a private school in Nonthaburi. Currently, I reside in Jomtien, which is near Pattaya. Let me assist you in improving your English skills!

I am originally from the UK and I have a native English accent. I gained a First Class Honours degree (graduated top of class) from Royal Holloway, University of London and I received an offer to study a Masters at Cambridge University before coming to Hong Kong for my PhD at HKU. I have experience tutoring IELTS for university students and assisting with improving higher education and university applications. I have helped many students feel more confident in their English writing and speaking ability. I am sociable, warm and welcoming, with the ability to put students at ease so that they are able to learn in a positive environment. My lessons primarily take place online, although tutoring sessions at your home can be arranged. With the use of a laptop and screen sharing software, it is like I am sat next to you, but with the convenience of being able to have tutoring at a time and place convenient to you. No more getting stuck in traffic on the way to your lessons. This also means I'm available during holidays if needed.

I have a huge passion for teaching English online and helping my students to achieve their academic goals throughout the year.
