As a GRE test-taker, I scored a perfect 6/6 on the Analytical Writing section (99th Percentile). My areas of expertise are in English, reading comprehension, phonics (especially with beginning readers), and essay writing. I have prior experience teaching English during my time at The Rotary Club of Hong Kong, where I taught vocational skills and English to elementary children. Hello and welcome! My name is Odette, and I'm a teacher from the UK. I currently live in Bangkok with my husband. I have a degree in English Language and Literature and have been a teacher in the UK for over 10 years. I started out teaching Art and Design alongside English before becoming a Food and Nutrition teacher. I have been very fortunate to be able to teach in subject areas that I am passionate about, merging both my love of the English language and ways of navigating stories with different art styles. Some examples of my teaching include students working on their own short stories and creating storyboards to accompany their written work. My other passion is food and fitness, both of which I have once again been very fortunate to teach in the UK.
