I was an IB student at Hwa Chong, where I did not take any art subjects, but I had been studying fine arts in my own time and received offers from both Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts. I stand out through my non-art backgrounds, where I did not receive strong influence from the more technically centered practice in A-level equivalent art subjects, but rather have a strong understanding of conceptual practice in the arts, which is much more prioritized in university-level portfolio applications. I have conducted extensive research on what is required in portfolios and what universities look for in applications. I do not provide advice on technical aspects in your practice, only on the conceptual and methodological approaches in your artworks. I am very friendly and easygoing, as I am still a student :) But, of course, we will focus where it is needed.
