Born in Korea and raised in the US and Hong Kong, I am a lecturer and private educator dedicated to connecting people with the world of art, design, and culture through diverse educational experiences. With a background in promoting contemporary art within the Hong Kong art market and teaching Design History at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, I have steadily built my professional and academic career in Hong Kong. I am currently planning to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) while training at an international secondary school. I hold an M.A. in Art History and a B.A. in Product Design. In my spare time, I enjoy training my intelligent Border Collie and participating in fun activities such as dog sports dance. I also volunteer for the Dr. Dog program organized by Animals Asia.

I am an independent art curator with a degree in MA Curating and Collections from the University of the Arts London (UAL). My name is Ariele Ugne, a design student, endulging my time in drawing, painting, visual arts and design. After my graduation from art school, I started questioning traditional methods of teaching, as well as the usual, traditional ways of drawing, painting, trying to understand my own stance on what, why and how I want to communicate my mind through art. One of the most important things that I learned through the process of drawing, painting, sketching, is how to relax your body and mind to transfer your soul onto paper, canvas, how to let your curiosity, imagination intertwine with any kind of media. Therefore, i want to teach people how to translate rawness and generally how to translate what you want to communicate.

Hello! I have taught Art and Photography for many years and have a strong appreciation for students' creative needs. Whether it is to grow their confidence in handling a particular medium, developing ideas, experimenting with materials, or wanting to develop skills in a specific area, I am able to draw the best out of my students in order to ensure they fulfill their creative potential. I teach fine art skills such as drawing, painting with oil and acrylics, printing, and various mixed media approaches. Additionally, I teach both film and digital photography, editing, and post-production using Adobe software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. Based in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, I can travel to support students at their homes.
