With a background in architecture and a Master’s degree in Painting, I combine the precision of design with the creativity of fine art. This unique blend of skills allows me to bring a fresh approach to art, where structure and expression harmonize. With years of experience, I am passionate about sharing this creative perspective and helping others learn and grow in their artistic journey.

Dumisani Jere was born in Soweto and he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication Design from the Open Window Institute Alumni in 2017. For the past 5 years part-time and 5 years full-time, he has worked for various companies in the art gallery and museum spaces, laser cutting / 3D printing industry, music/film industry, and software sector. He had his previous exhibition, which was his official solo debut, hosted at the Priest gallery. He is currently a co-founder of Metamorphosis Art Dimensions (PTY) Ltd, an independent audio and visual artistic company. He is a versatile illustrator and creative director, motion & sound designer, and animator/editor, working on a long-term full-time basis. Please note that his current BA Visual Communication Design degree should not be reviewed as a lack thereof in relation to film study. Instead, it has enabled him to focus on acquiring greater creative pre -production practical skills, and his on-the-job art direction filming industry experience is more thought-provoking and engaging for the clients and viewers.

I am an artist, musician, teacher, philosopher, writer, farmer, and mechanic. I teach the arts as one of the last remaining Renaissance men. I have studied Fine Art from prolific artists in New York, as well as worked as an artist in varying capacities. As a teacher, I aim to help students achieve their goals and develop their skills. I strive to uncover and nurture the hidden talents within each student. I am not interested in teaching another photo-realist; I am searching for genuine human art in the digital age. The unique touch of the human hand is a gift to be cultivated and expressed. I can teach drawing, life drawing, and figure drawing using various media. I am proficient in color theory and painting, including watercolor. I am also skilled in printmaking and sculpting. My expertise spans across many mediums, making me a highly trained Studio Artist. Located in the hip area of Ari, Bangkok, I am available to teach at my studio or travel to your location.

As a young, energetic teacher, I aim for students to feel a sense of comfort and motivation during every lesson. I strive to evoke a desire for education and curiosity throughout each moment of learning. Providing the tools necessary to enjoy learning will help students develop a self-motivated appreciation for education.

I am an ESL and Art teacher based in Hong Kong. I have been teaching freelance online and face-to-face for about 4 years now while also pursuing my own visual art career. In my classes, my students explore a variety of art mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and much more, while also learning different creative skills that can prove useful. I like to have my classes adapt to the student, allowing them to choose what they would like to create while also following a structured lesson plan. I enjoy making it personal by using day-to-day experiences, such as painting their pet or favourite cartoon character, so that students learn to love my classes and explore their artistic side.

I am an independent art curator with a degree in MA Curating and Collections from the University of the Arts London (UAL). I am excited to teach art to younger children who would like to develop their skills and conceptual practices. I am also experienced in art portfolio preparation for higher education students who are seeking feedback and critique to develop the best outcomes and practices.

I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Dance BA (Hons) in the United Kingdom. I have been drawing and painting since I was young and have developed a strong passion over time. I previously studied A-Level Art and Design in secondary school, where we had the ability to paint, draw, and use a variety of other fun mediums to express our creativity. I am most confident in  painting and drawing still life with watercolours, oil paints, tonal drawings, and acrylic. With previous experience teaching young children, I will always ensure that the lesson is engaging, fun, as well as most importantly educational for the students.

I have 7 years of experience teaching high school Visual Arts & Design subjects. I hold a MA in Design and a BSc in Fine Arts.
