With 12 years of experience as an ex-diplomat and two master's degrees in political science, I offer professional tutoring services in SAT and world history. I have a strong record of helping students reach their academic goals and strive to create a supportive learning environment for all.

Many schools fail to adequately prepare students for high school exams. In the past seven years, I have seen students being expected to analyze unseen fiction and literature without having been trained in how to do this. I have helped many students fill the gap by acquiring the skills needed to succeed in standard assessments in English language and literature, such as the SAT, IB DP, and DSE. I qualified with a Master of Arts in Teaching English Literature and Language from Oxford Brookes University and have a master's level qualification in Teaching English for Academic Purposes from the University of Glasgow. Prior to arriving in Hong Kong, I taught the IB programme at Fairview International School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and coordinated English lessons at China Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan.
