Passionate History Tutor in Bangkok.
I am a British teacher in Bangkok, currently teaching at the primary level but looking to broaden my teaching portfolio by teaching History at any level, but preferably Secondary. I have studied History at GCSE and A-Level in the UK, and I have also achieved a BA in Politics and History at the university level. I have a strong understanding of the syllabus and a general interest in the subject, such as reading about various periods of history in my spare time. I am located in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok and would prefer to teach online, but I am willing to travel to students' houses if necessary. I am happy to offer one free session for students to understand my teaching style and see if they would be interested in more sessions. Hope to connect with students soon!

Expert History and Social Studies Tutor.
Hello, my name is Chris. I have been a teacher in the Netherlands for 28 years. I taught history, social studies, and economics. My father is Canadian, and my mother is Dutch, so I am also able to teach in Dutch. In addition to being a teacher, I have also done business. Currently, I am the owner of a resort in Thailand with my wife. Teaching again brings me great joy, and I hope to stay in touch. So, goodbye for now, and have a nice day. Cheers, Chris.

Hello! My name is Emma and I recently completed an MA in World History and Cultures at King's College London. For my undergraduate degree, I did a double major in History and French, and received a first class honours for my academic achievements. I was also featured on the Dean's list for 3 years, and was invited to join the HKU Undergraduate Fellowship Research Programme. I have previously taught young children English, Mandarin, and French. I have also tutored older secondary school students in English (creative writing, grammar), as well as beginner's French. I am open to tutoring and mentoring students who are currently doing the IBDP, specifically for English A Lit, and History SL/HL. I am also willing to help with university applications, personal statements, and anything that needs proofreading! Currently, I am only able to teach online. Please contact me for more details!

Medieval Surgeon/Historian (Special Bonus Leeches)
Do you need someone to ignite your child's interest in learning? I taught European History at the university level as well as in high school so I understand what it takes to make the transition from one to the other. My method of tutoring focuses on analyzing texts as opposed to the brute memorization of facts. Because I have a background in a lot of different topics, I tend to allow lessons to move over a wide range of fields, depending on what interests the student. This serves to engage a variety of students on their terms. In a sense, what I offer is a theatrical performance in which I open up my inner thinking process about a given topic and, in turn, invite students to join in this performance. I have in the past conducted my classes as book clubs in which students voted for books to read and I worked my lessons around these books. I believe that this method can be particularly valuable for the smaller more intimate setting of tutoring. Students on the autism spectrum, in particular, have benefited, as it allows their particular set of interests to set the agenda. Ultimately, I like to see myself as a living resource that students can use to help them connect to the world of books and of private reading where the true process of education lies. My favorite clients are members of a large family, ranging in age from toddler to teen. I come in for several hours a week to help with whatever is needed. That usually means starting the evening reading to the younger kids. I have a child on each knee while I use one hand to hold a book and my second hand to balance a third kid on top of my head. By the end of the evening, I am talking history and politics with the older kids. In either role, I serve as a reading facilitator, encouraging people to push themselves to read more, read widely and read things that will challenge them intellectually and emotionally. If this is the kind of entertaining and enlightening experience you want to bring to your kids, contact me.

Effective History tutor at HKU.
Hi there, my name is Robert! I am a student at HKU, double majoring in History and English Studies. I currently live at HKU. I have studied in China for my middle school and received my high school diploma in Canada, so I became familiar with and capable of teaching both Global History and European History. My usual teaching style would be less informative but more theoretical, preparing students for university learning. I can also help with improving writing skills, as they are extremely important for students both in academia and future workplaces.

Teaching for the Last 5 Year
I like to teach children as teaching is a passion. I get to learn a lot from them too so I am into this field. The children who are studying with me only love to study with me. I make sure they understand the study topics very well. I have a lot of different techniques for teaching them. I teach English, Math, Social Studies and Science. I prefer students coming to my home but if not I can go as well to their place if they live nearby with an additional transportation cost.

History, Philosophy, Literature tuition for all levels by an educator based in Randstad.
To meet the socio-political challenges of our globalized 21st-century, you need two things: a) critical thinking and communication in English; c) general 'cultural awareness' of the world's competing ideologies. I will lead you to master both of these essential domains simultaneously, using expertise I have gained in England, Czechia, Peru, and Holland. I am a young education entrepreneur from Prague, with a decade of diverse work and study experience also in the UK, Peru and Bolivia, and the Netherlands. Knowledgeable about world history, languages, philosophies, religions, literatures, and socio-political systems. Also a big fan of personal development through athletics, art, and psychology.
