Hi! If you're at all interested in history, literature, music, philosophy, or human culture, you will have noticed the the language and cultural heritage of the Greek and Roman civilisations played a central role in the shaping of our modern world, and continue to do so. I have a BA in Classics (Greek & Latin) from King's College London and an MA in Late Antique & Byzantine Studies from the same place. I have twenty years of experience teaching Classical Greek and Latin to beginning and intermediate students, and would love to start you on your learning journey. Whether your interests are in the secular or sacred sphere, classical or mediaeval periods, we can tailor the target reading material. While I am based in the North, location isn't usually a problem (unless you live on Jurong Island, Tuas, or Loyang) - we can meet at your home, my home, any coffee place, or even a HDB void deck. Zoom is also possible, of course, though I strongly recommend face-to-face lessons most of the time. Get in touch - let's see if we can work something out.

I enjoy indulging myself into new languages, exploring different cultures, meeting new people and making new friends. I speak English, Malay, Indonesian, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean and some Vietnamese. My hobbies are reading, playing video games and board games, sports, learning languages, editing videos and photography.

I provide Fundamental Thai lessons that are suitable for students with no prior experience in learning the language. Additionally, I offer Thai for tourists which can be used while travelling in Thailand, as well as Thai language for everyday use. I place a strong emphasis on correct pronunciation and useful skills for daily Thai communication. My classes are not only informative, but also offer insights into Thai culture and the local way of life.
